TAIJIN TUBULAR ANODES FOR CATHODIC PROTECTION

TAIJIN MMO Canister Anode is titanium tubes with a mixed metal oxide coating. The mixed metal oxide is a crystalline, electrically conductive coating that activates the titanium and enables it to function as an anode.

TAIJIN MMO Canister Anode is available in optional metal canisters for installation where conventional hole loading methods may not be practical. TAIJIN anode canister assemblies are made from galvanized steel. The assembly includes calcined petroleum coke breeze backfill (several choices are available), an anode centering device, galvanized steel end plugs , and a lifting bail to ease installation.
TAIJIN utilizes a galvanized steel end plug as opposed to a plywood end plug. Doing so ensures that the end plug will not split and that the coke breeze backfill is sealed inside the canister.

3.Installation

1. MMO tubular anode with custom request’s cable dimension (PVDF/HMWPE, KYNAR/HMWPR, HALAR/HMWPE, etc.)
2. Canister backfilled with calcined petroleum coke (canister dimension as requested)

4. Quality Assurance

The following quality assurance is made throughout the manufacturing process:
1) Certification of compliance of the titanium substrate.

4) Accelerated Life Test using acid solution under NACE Standard TM0108
5) Visual inspection of MMO coating and cable
6) Electrical continuity test between the anode and cable
